The device prepares the fax; the workspace proves the result.

Choose the path that matches your document, then check the result in one Faxoryn record.

01Browser workspace

Complete destination review, page preview, sending, and status.

02Email or connected file

Authorized input for a narrower workflow, with the result recorded in Faxoryn.

03Scanned paper

Create and inspect a supported digital file before upload.

TASK PATH

Work toward a result you can verify.

  1. 01

Use a sample document for the first send.

  2. 02

Confirm account access, page allowance, and number requirements.

  3. 03

Keep the source document under the organization's approved access controls.

  4. 04

Open the supported Faxoryn entry point and log in.

  5. 05

Add the complete destination, source document, and necessary cover context.

  6. 06

Preview every fax page and review the sending settings.

01

STARTING POINT

Begin with Send a fax over Wi-Fi from a supported entry point

Faxoryn uses an internet connection for account access, document upload, and status updates, while carriers deliver to the recipient's fax destination. A local analog phone line and fax machine are not required.

Prepare the source as a supported digital file. If the source is paper, scan it first and inspect the resulting pages for orientation and readability.

This page covers wireless. Check the relevant account setting or fax record before you continue.

  • Use a sample document for the first send.
  • Confirm account access, page allowance, and number requirements.
  • Keep the source document under the organization's approved access controls.
02

SEND WORKFLOW

Prepare, preview, submit, and follow one saved fax

Confirm network stability during upload and sending, then keep following the saved job after the browser request completes.

  1. 01Open the supported Faxoryn entry point and log in.
  2. 02Add the complete destination, source document, and necessary cover context.
  3. 03Preview every fax page and review the sending settings.
  4. 04Submit once, then follow the saved job to a final state.
03

BOUNDARY

Do not confuse the input tool with fax delivery

Wi-Fi or internet access only connects the user to Faxoryn; it does not itself transmit a fax or prove carrier delivery.

Sending means the job entered the service workflow. Retain the final delivered or failed state and timestamp for operational follow-up.

04

RECOVERY

Check the saved record before trying again

If upload, preview, authorization, or sending fails, read the visible state and correct that condition before creating another job. Repeated sending can create duplicate documents at the destination.

05

CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS

Separate local connectivity from carrier delivery

Wi-Fi, ethernet, or mobile data connects the browser to Faxoryn for authentication, upload, preview, sending, and status retrieval. The fax carrier handles the later route to the recipient's fax destination.

A stable connection matters most while uploading and submitting. Once a saved job exists, a brief local disconnect does not necessarily cancel carrier handling; return to the record and read its latest state.

  • Avoid untrusted public networks for confidential documents.
  • Confirm upload completion before closing or backgrounding the page.
  • Do not create another job until the first record is found or ruled out.
06

RECEIVING WITHOUT HARDWARE

Keep the assigned number active rather than a local machine

Inbound fax does not depend on a home or office router remaining online. It depends on an eligible active fax number, carrier routing, account ownership, and the configured Inbox and notification workflow.

Test the number from an independent sender, verify the received pages in Inbox, and confirm who handles unread or incorrectly routed documents before relying on it for recurring work.

07

ROUTE OPTIONS

Know what the wireless connection does and does not provide

Wi-Fi can connect a phone, tablet, computer, scanner, or multifunction printer to an online workflow. It does not create a fax destination, carrier route, or delivery receipt by itself.

  • Browser path: connect securely, upload the file, review the job, and follow its saved state.
  • Email path: send from an authorized address and verify the corresponding Faxoryn record.
  • Wireless scanner path: capture a supported file, inspect every page, and upload it normally.
  • Fax-capable printer path: follow its independent phone-line or carrier settings.
08

ROUTE-SPECIFIC LIMIT

Confirm the step this method can actually prove

Avoid confidential uploads over untrusted public Wi-Fi. If connectivity changes during sending, inspect existing activity before retrying so the recipient does not receive duplicate copies.

Send one sample document, keep the record number from the system that sent the fax, and confirm the final delivered or failed state before adopting the route for recurring work.

09

WIRELESS DEVICE ROLES

Assign capture, upload, fax, and receipt to the right system

A phone camera or scanner captures the source, Wi-Fi carries the upload, Faxoryn creates the fax, and the carrier routes it to the fax machine. A wireless printer may only print or scan unless it has separately configured fax capability.

Troubleshoot the stage that failed: local capture quality, browser permission, network upload, saved job creation, carrier sending, recipient's fax machine, or notification. Repeating the entire chain can hide the original cause and create duplicates.

WHEN THE RESULT DIFFERS

Stop before repeating an action.

Read the visible status, keep the relevant record number, and correct the stated issue before retrying. Contact support without including fax contents, passwords, or API keys.
