WAYS TO PREPARE

The device prepares the fax; the workspace proves the result.

Choose the path that matches your document, then check the result in one Faxoryn record.

01Browser workspace

Complete destination review, page preview, sending, and status.

02Email or connected file

Authorized input for a narrower workflow, with the result recorded in Faxoryn.

03Scanned paper

Create and inspect a supported digital file before upload.

TASK PATH

Work toward a result you can verify.

  1. 01

Use a sample document for the first send.

  2. 02

Confirm account access, page allowance, and number requirements.

  3. 03

Keep the source document under the organization's approved access controls.

  4. 04

Open the supported Faxoryn entry point and log in.

  5. 05

Add the complete destination, source document, and necessary cover context.

  6. 06

Preview every fax page and review the sending settings.

01

STARTING POINT

Begin with Send a fax from any supported computer from a supported entry point

Open the Faxoryn web workspace in a supported desktop browser. The workflow does not require a fax modem, operating-system fax service, or locally installed fax application.

Upload a supported local document or select a file through an enabled cloud connection, then wait for the preview before arranging the pages.

This page covers computer. Check the relevant account setting or fax record before you continue.

  • Use a sample document for the first send.
  • Confirm account access, page allowance, and number requirements.
  • Keep the source document under the organization's approved access controls.
02

SEND WORKFLOW

Prepare, preview, submit, and follow one saved fax

Use the larger preview to inspect readability, page order, destination, cover information, scheduling, and retry settings before submitting.

  1. 01Open the supported Faxoryn entry point and log in.
  2. 02Add the complete destination, source document, and necessary cover context.
  3. 03Preview every fax page and review the sending settings.
  4. 04Submit once, then follow the saved job to a final state.
03

BOUNDARY

Do not confuse the input tool with fax delivery

An operating-system Send or print dialog is not proof of fax sending. The main record and final delivery state must appear in Faxoryn.

Sending means the job entered the service workflow. Retain the final delivered or failed state and timestamp for operational follow-up.

04

RECOVERY

Check the saved record before trying again

If upload, preview, authorization, or sending fails, read the visible state and correct that condition before creating another job. Repeated sending can create duplicate documents at the destination.

05

AVAILABLE PATHS

Choose the browser, email, or connected-file path deliberately

The browser provides the complete preparation and status surface. Email can submit supported content from an authorized address, while connected storage can supply a source file. Each path still creates or refers back to a Faxoryn fax record.

Historical operating-system fax tools, modems, print drivers, or native applications are separate workflows. They are not required by Faxoryn and their presence does not prove that the cloud account received a job.

  • Use the browser when visual page review and scheduling matter.
  • Use email only after sender identity and destination format are configured.
  • Use connected files with the minimum required authorization scope.
06

DESKTOP QUALITY CHECK

Use the larger workspace to inspect file preview

Office documents, PDFs, and images can change during preview because of missing fonts, page size, hidden sheets, margins, or unsupported protection. Review every fax page rather than assuming the source application view will match the fax.

After sending, keep the computer workflow tied to the saved record number and final state. A browser completion screen, email Sent item, or operating-system print queue is not the delivery receipt.

07

ROUTE OPTIONS

Choose among browser, email, connected files, and local fax hardware

A computer offers several ways to start with the same document, but each path keeps a different record. The Faxoryn browser provides the full preparation surface; email and connected storage feed the workflow; a modem or multifunction printer remains a separate local fax system.

  • Web workspace: upload locally, select a connected file, preview the file, set up the fax, and follow its status.
  • Email: submit from an authorized account and verify that Faxoryn created the intended fax.
  • Google or Microsoft files: import the approved version and inspect the fax pages rather than the editable source view.
  • Fax modem or multifunction printer: follow the operating system and hardware instructions; the result does not automatically appear in Faxoryn.
08

ROUTE-SPECIFIC LIMIT

Confirm the step this method can actually prove

Do not combine receipts from unrelated paths. A print queue, email Sent item, local fax log, and Faxoryn activity record describe different systems and cannot substitute for one another.

Send one sample document, keep the record number from the system that sent the fax, and confirm the final delivered or failed state before adopting the route for recurring work.

09

SOURCE APPLICATIONS

Convert office documents, cloud files, and images deliberately

A computer may start with PDF, Word, spreadsheet, presentation, image, scanned page, Google file, or Microsoft-hosted document. Unsupported fonts, hidden sheets, comments, tracked changes, page breaks, protection, and external content can change or disappear during preview.

Select the approved version, wait for every file to render, and inspect page order, orientation, margins, signatures, and readability. The source application's own print preview is useful but does not replace the fax preview.

10

RECEIVING ON A COMPUTER

Use the active number and Inbox rather than a powered-on PC

A computer does not need to stay online for a carrier to receive a fax. The account needs an active eligible number, correct assignment, sufficient service state, and an owned Inbox and notification process.

Test inbound reception from an independent sender, download the document through an authorized session, and confirm who handles unread, misrouted, or confidential items.

WHEN THE RESULT DIFFERS

Stop before repeating an action.

Read the visible status, keep the relevant record number, and correct the stated issue before retrying. Contact support without including fax contents, passwords, or API keys.
