CURRENT POSITION
Send a PDF by fax
A PDF is a strong fax source when its pages, fonts, orientation, signatures, and forms remain readable after preview to the carrier's fax format.
A valid PDF can still exceed configured limits, contain unsupported protection, render missing fonts, or be unreadable at fax resolution. The preview is required.
This page covers pdf. Check the relevant account setting or fax record before you continue.
- Use current live capabilities and account data.
- Try it with a sample document.
- Keep the owner, record numbers, and visible outcome.
WHAT TO CHECK
Verify the claim through an operating path
Upload the intended PDF, arrange it with any other source files, add cover context, preview every fax page, verify the destination, and submit once.
- 01Define the document, destination, account, and responsible person.
- 02Run the supported preparation and sending path.
- 03Inspect successful and failed behavior.
- 04Use the retained product state as evidence for the final decision.
PUBLICATION BOUNDARY
Keep unverified claims out of live copy
A valid PDF can still exceed configured limits, contain unsupported protection, render missing fonts, or be unreadable at fax resolution. The preview is required.
Update this page when live capabilities, contracts, legal approvals, or operating-company evidence changes.
BROWSER AND EMAIL PATHS
Choose visual review or authorized email sending
The browser path lets an operator combine files, arrange pages, add a cover, inspect the preview, review the destination, and follow status in one workspace. Email can submit a supported PDF from the address registered to an account with an active default fax number.
Email is useful for a known repeatable input, but the email Sent folder does not prove preview or delivery. Open the resulting Faxoryn record and inspect its fax pages and final state.
PDF QUALITY CHECK
Flatten uncertainty before the fax is transmitted
Check encryption, password protection, embedded fonts, page dimensions, color contrast, transparency, annotations, forms, signatures, orientation, blank pages, and scanned-image resolution. Remove unrelated hidden details or attachments according to policy.
Keep the approved source version, preview, destination, cover, record number, and final result together. When the preview differs, correct the source or create a controlled flattened PDF instead of sending an unreadable page.
SCANNED AND GENERATED PDFS
Check image quality and generated layout through different failure paths
A scanned PDF can be too dark, skewed, low resolution, or composed of oversized images. A generated PDF can contain missing embedded fonts, transparent layers, comments, form widgets, crop boxes, or signatures that render differently. Inspect the actual fax preview rather than relying on the file extension.
When a PDF is password-protected, digitally restricted, malformed, or beyond configured size and page limits, produce an approved accessible source instead of attempting to bypass protection. Preserve the original and corrected version relationship when records management requires it.
- Readable contrast, orientation, page order, margins, and complete edges.
- Expected fonts, signatures, forms, annotations, and flattened layers.
- Supported protection, file size, page count, and account allowance.
- Approved source version, fax preview, destination, and final status.
